In 2000 we began a campaign to fix the past, the recognition of the service, honor, courage and loyalty of those that served in and during the Vietnam War. We choose the date of March 30 because that is when the last combat troops left Vietnam.
In 2004 Representative Linda T. Sanchez heard about our cause and being very determined, she took it to our nation's capitol in Washington DC.
In 2006, the US Congress and US Senate both, unanimously passed resolutions proclaiming March 30 as Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day {WHVVD}.
In 2009, California became the first state to pass legislation recognizing March 30 as WHVVD. Very soon after, many states followed our lead and also passed WHVVD legislation.
In 2012 The White House signed an Executive Order proclaiming March 29 as WHVVD.

On Saturday April 13, 2013 we will host our FIFTH ANNUAL WELCOME HOME VIETNAM VETERANS DAY celebration at California High School, 9800 Mills Ave. Whittier CA. 90605. from 11 AM to 4:30 PM. Our goal is, and will continue to be the NATIONAL recognition of ALL VN Veterans in the United States. We proudly dedicate this event to our FEMALE VETERANS, OUR WOMEN IN UNIFORM!

We cordially invite you to come and be a part of this great event. If you are a Veteran of ANY ERA, PLEASE COME to meet those for whom you served. If you did not serve in the military PLEASE come to THANK AND WELCOME HOME those who did.Home_files/POSTcard_2013_2.pdf
