MISSION

Below are the names and links to proclamations, letters of support, recognition from cities, states and government officials. They are arranged very close to the order in which they were received. We started this campaign in the city of Whittier and worked our way out to other nearby cities. All of these proclamations are the hard and determined passionate work of one man who believes in this cause more than anyone I know or have met. Numerous people and organizations have applauded his efforts with written documents but few have save the Congresswomen Linda Sanchez taken a hard stand on making "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" an official national day of recognition. Historically it is probable one of the most important efforts ever made by a Veteran, because it demands that our warriors should never be forgotten or treated with disrespect. It commemorates the hard lessons learned from a very difficult and controversial era that we need to remember for the better good of this country. I for one am proud of every single soldier that served at any given time with the right intention. It is a job that no one really wants but must do for honor, duty, country, for family, for the preservation of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness even at the price of their own life and many gave and many live among us as unsung hero's. On March 30 of every year we aim to remember the living Veterans now and in the future for their service to this great country therefore this web site and every proclamation, letter, or official document received and posted to this web site is dedicated to you the Vietnam Veteran and all Veterans who served and are serving now.

Thank you for your service, and Welcome Home!!!
